  100% Acorn-Fed Iberian Morcón: the little-known gem of Iberian gourmet   Unlike other more popular cured meats, morcón does not usually take the spotlight like the chorizo or the jamón, but its production places it clearly in a superior category within the Iberian gourmet universe. We are talking about a piece made with the presa (shoulder cut) from 100% acorn-fed Iberian pigs, hand-chopped with a knife and traditionally stuffed into natural casing. The result is a sausage with an intense purple color, a juicy texture and a deep flavor where sweet paprika provides balance without masking the quality of the raw material. Its slow curing in a cellar for more than six months allows the development of complex, elegant and persistent nuances on the palate.

How to enjoy it?

It is recommended to slice it thinly, at room temperature, to appreciate all of its silkiness. It is ideal as an appetizer, accompanied by artisan bread and a good full-bodied red wine, although it also pairs perfectly with generosos (fortified wines) or even a structured white wine.
