Sucralín can be used for baking — what about the other sweeteners?

People who until now used sugar and want a real alternative bring us their doubts. One thing is sweetening beverages, and another is cooking with the alternative. And they are surprised when they discover that Sucralín is truly the alternative for everything.

Sweeteners are all the rage

Yes. We can certainly say that competition with sugar is fierce today and here to stay. New consumption habits, greater awareness about self-care, knowledge of the consequences of a sugar-rich diet, and, of course, a larger portfolio of alternatives to sucralose have taken the battle to another level. But although we can find products that sweeten as much or more than sugar, their drawbacks don’t make them as attractive as their packaging suggests. And most importantly, to be a true alternative you have to perform well in every possible area, and most of them cannot compete (yet) with sugar. All of them? Sucralín does.

Sucralín lets you bake like sugar

The pandemic led people to do more home baking and to return to the “time-honored” recipes at home. For that, you needed staples like flour, yeast, eggs, and sugar. But that was counterproductive for people who wanted to return to traditional recipes for health reasons. The only alternative they found in the sweetener market was Sucralín. Because it allows you to cook at high temperatures while preserving the texture of foods and their final flavor, in both household and professional settings. That way your classic recipes — rice pudding, cakes, apple pies, or carrot cakes — taste the same but with fewer calories and, most importantly, are suitable for everyone, including people with diabetes. It has also become an alternative for bakeries and production kitchens, which find in our products the opportunity to expand their customer base to include those with sugar issues and those who want a low-calorie option without losing that familiar sweet taste. Neither polyols like erythritol or maltitol, nor stevia or agave syrup let you bake with results similar to sugar, so they are not a true alternative. In the case of polyols, they can also cause flatulence.

Sucralín is a 100% Spanish brand

Created in 2010, Sucralín is a 100% Spanish company. It specializes in manufacturing the first Spanish sucralose-based sweetener, of natural origin, made from sugar cane. It preserves the authentic taste of sugar but without sugar’s calories and does not affect blood glucose levels. Currently, Sucralín offers a variety of formats, always focused on promoting values such as innovation in the service of health and well-being.

What is sucralose?

Sucralose is the calorie-free sweetener obtained from sugar. Sucralose is the calorie-free sweetener derived from sugar and has the advantage of retaining the authentic sugar taste. Sucralose can be used as part of a healthy diet as a substitute for table sugar to eliminate or reduce the caloric content of foods. Sucralose is 600 times sweeter than sucrose; therefore it is used in the food industry as a replacement for sugar in low-calorie beverages and processed foods. We will continue innovating to offer you healthy products with the same sweet taste as always. Because we all deserve a life full of sweetness that helps us be happier, while also taking care of ourselves.
