Sucralín, the best naturally derived formula.

Sucralín

Fashions come and go. And although we acknowledge that the category has sparked a certain revolution in recent times, there are products that “never go out of style.” Like Sucralín. Which has reinforced its leadership among natural-origin sweeteners.

Tastes like sugar

If we want to have a successful product in the sweetener category, the most important thing is that its taste be as close to sugar as possible. Not only that it sweetens, but that it has a pleasant flavor. That was the essential premise for Sucralín when it was created in 2010. But of course, it’s normal that its taste is like sugar because its origin comes from sugar cane — in other words, its origin is natural. Taste is a decisive factor when choosing a sugar alternative, that goes without saying, but despite that, several competitors to Sucralín have emerged that, on the one hand, perform the function of sweetening but are not as healthy as our wonderful product created in Spain. Stevia has a licorice-like taste that is not pleasant on the palate. And polyols and other sweeteners like agave syrup are only sweeteners that do not provide a flavor the way Sucralín does.

Health is the most important thing

And for that reason, at Sucralín we were clear that health is not something to play with. Making the best sweetener means making the most universal one, the one that the largest number of people can enjoy, without contraindications. When we say it is for EVERYONE, it means leaving no one out — not people who are lactose intolerant, not celiacs, and of course not people with diabetes. And of course, we don’t forget those who want to sweeten their lives with a low caloric intake. Everyone is welcome… and with no side effects! However, the intake of polyols, like erythritol — as trendy as it is little known — can cause "increased gas from bacterial fermentation in the intestine, flatulence, and even diarrhea and abdominal pain." In addition, if we exceed the dose it may cause a laxative effect. As the OCU reminds us, current regulations require the following indication on this type of product: "Excessive consumption may produce laxative effects." Likewise, a recent study in the journal Nature has stated that erythritol consumption is linked to an increased risk of blood clots, which could be related to heart attacks or strokes. This has generated a great debate about whether it is beneficial or harmful to health. Therefore, if one wants to take a sweetener as an alternative to sugar, Sucralín is the best option. Sucralín has been on the market for more than 10 years, continually innovating its products, using the highest quality raw materials available, a formula that is truly unique and offering an exceptional final product that, unlike others, does deliver what is described on its packaging. And that provides authority and know-how, allowing it to grow in the number of satisfied consumers, year after year.

Sucralín: the true alternative

The natural origin of Sucralín, (from sugar cane), already makes the final product have many similarities to sugar. But if we have to determine why Sucralín is better than stevia, it is because people with diabetes or pre-diabetes can replace sugar with Sucralín chronically — that is, forever — without harm to their health. That value is indisputable. But beyond that argument, what we have always wanted is to offer the true substitute for sugar, so that anyone who stopped consuming sugar in favor of Sucralín would find a product that gives them all the satisfaction they should expect from consuming it, and we can say, without fear of being wrong or sounding pretentious, that we have achieved it. Basically because you can use it in everything that requires sugar as a sweetener, and successfully. That is, from sweetening beverages to cooking the most complex pastry recipes, with the sweet flavor of always that will surprise you and, best of all, with far fewer calories than sugar.

1 gram of Sucralín = 7 grams of sugar

The equivalence of 1 gram of Sucralín is 7 grams of sugar, which allows you to use much less quantity to sweeten the same amount. Several of the chefs we have worked with recently have even used only 1 gram of Sucralín where they previously used 10 grams of sugar… and it still has that same sweet taste as always. The pancreas appreciates a product like Sucralín, but so does the liver, because it does not contain phenylalanine (aspartame, for example, is a source of phenylalanine). To be more precise, phenylalanine in excessive doses (far removed from average consumption) can be toxic and cause developmental problems. Therefore, in patients with phenylketonuria, aspartame is strictly prohibited. Phenylketonuria is a genetic disease that affects the liver and prevents the metabolism of phenylalanine. So you should always pay attention to product descriptions to know what we are ingesting. For those for whom health is the most important thing, Sucralín is the best sugar substitute on the market. When we talk with our customers and their reasons for continuing to choose Sucralín, their most common response is that there is nothing else like it on the market — in terms of quality and flavor, for savings (since it sweetens more you need less product and it lasts longer), and for health. They wouldn’t change it for any other because it gives them the sweet taste they want.
