Turrones y Miel Alemany was recently awarded 9 stars at the international Great Taste Awards, considered the Oscars of gourmet food. The Os de Balaguer company has accumulated 31 stars over the last six years at these awards.

Oli Castelló, the olive oil company selected for this product, has received numerous international accolades for its oil. Notably, it won the gold medal at the Sol de Oro International Competition at the Verona Olive Oil Fair, where the Castellón firm was selected from among 300 olive oil producers thanks to its Arbequina extra virgin olive oil. The company also boasts an extensive list of awards, with more than 70 international recognitions (California, Japan, Athens) and national awards.

The cream, sweetened with honey, is free from preservatives and additives, added refined sugars, and palm oil.

For five generations, the Alemany family has crafted artisanal turrón and selected honey from the finest beekeepers. The story of Turrones y Miel Alemany began at the end of the 19th century, when Mrs. Mundeta made a caramel with local honey and nuts. Since Montsec is a harsh and difficult land for cultivation, this activity offered them a valuable alternative. The distinctive character of Alemany turrón comes from a 19th-century recipe that gives the paste its characteristic white color. Slow cooking, locally sourced nuts, and a carefully selected rosemary honey are part of the secret behind the turrón’s distinctive flavor. Alemany has specialized in monofloral honeys, sourced from beekeepers across the country. Innovation at Alemany comes through the concept of honey with added value, in its gourmet honey line.
