Gastronomy with extra virgin olive oil.
One of the essential ingredients of the Mediterranean diet is olive oil. Arbequina oil, with its flavor—smoother and less bitter than other varieties—is ideal for making desserts and recipes with white fish. It is an excellent oil for enhancing many dishes, especially when paired with sweet ingredients. It is also one of the recommended varieties for frying: because it penetrates the food very little, the increase in calories from frying is considerably reduced.
