Pairing:

We would pair it with a young red wine or young white wines as well. Serve with Paul & Pippa crackers, or an assortment of nuts (such as walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds).

It can also be paired with extra virgin olive oils, honeys or jams.
Storage

The ideal temperature for storing the cheese is between 4 – 10 ºC, in a refrigerated place.

Best before: 20 months from the date of manufacture.

Quesos Vazquez

The story of Los Vázquez began in 1927, when Ángel Vázquez was born into a hardworking, humble family. From an early age he showed passion and enthusiasm for the family’s work, while also displaying a special interest in business. Over the years, Ángel met Carmen, his future wife. This was the beginning of the Vázquez family, which would later create the cheese dairy. The family started out working in the bakery owned by Carmen’s father, and it was not until 1967, after receiving a herd of goats as payment for a debt, that Ángel considered making cheese by hand with the milk produced by these goats, later beginning to sell the cheeses to his neighbors and nearby villages, giving rise to what is today Quesos Los Vázquez. Passionate about cheese, for years Ángel embarked on a project to find a way to refine production and define the quality his products should have. In 1972, Quesos Los Vázquez was registered as the first cheese dairy in Andalusia, thus completing the circle of a man who, with courage, ambition, perseverance and, above all, great effort, managed to achieve his dream. Today, 50 years later, Ángel Vázquez’s grandchildren continue to work with the same enthusiasm and dedication as their founder, with the goal of conquering new international markets through their cheeses, most of which are made from goat’s milk, their distinguishing value.
