The Can Bech Calçots Sauce is born from respect for tradition and for a product made with care. Between the months of November and April, when calçots are at their best, this sauce becomes an essential at the table.
Can Bech, a Catalan family company specializing in gourmet preserves, makes this sauce following the traditional method, using selected ingredients and carefully controlled processes. Ripe tomatoes, breadcrumbs, toasted hazelnuts and almonds, ñora peppers, and oil come together to create a creamy, balanced, deeply flavorful sauce.
Although it is the classic sauce for calçots, its versatility makes it an excellent accompaniment to grilled vegetables, white meats, fish, or even as a base for other preparations. An honest, well-made product full of Mediterranean identity.
